. it's all a compromise ..studio, radio, or live .... or indeed  mp3, 
flac, 
ogg, or any of the formats out there ..
 
I have a shed load of vinyl and a working deck ... and I like the  vinyl 
sound .. but to my ear most of the mp3's / cd's around are perfectly  
adequate 
most of the time ..
 
and I don't mind stuff being offered on 7" single  ...
