Rocker:

You'll be lucky to get "Weightless" or "...And Stones" if Angelo is not in
the lineup. And the only thing that is obligatory is "Breakin' in your
heart". And I'm DJing in bloody London that day, so yet again will miss
the gig. :-(

btw went to the Pat Fish gig - he was great - did some solo stuff, then
added a backing band on his iPod, and played a few old Jazz Butcher
classics.

Support was Rita and John - very impressive, I'd not seen them as a duo
before, but John's responsive style of drumming works well with Rita's
full-on electric guitar / vocal attack - hoping to get them to record some
tracks for my show on www.dandelionradio.com

Me:

I'm DJing on the SS Great Britain so won't be there either.

I was at the Pat Fish gig too (nice to chat with you there Rocker, btw).
The Jaz Butcher kind of passed me by back in the day but I enjoyed the
gig. Hung around in the pub til quite late, Pat was there getting quite
drunk!

I've seen Rita and John a few times now and they really are gelling
beautifully. His playing really enhances what Rita is doing, and I think
is inspiring her to stronger performances. Well worth checkin out.

Several Aeroplanes were in attendance - John and RIta obviously, but also
Gerard, Gerard and Joe Allen. And I was in the same pub the Friday after
to see The Moles (who were excellent) and Angelo was there.
