Fwd: Friday's gig

Hello all!

My first post so I hope this works.

I was at the Fiddlers on Friday with my wife. We thought it was really
good and it was good that the setlist was very different from when we saw
them at the harbourside festival in October.

Loads of great songs that we knew and a few new ones which was nice too. I
think my wife's favourite was Up in A Down World as she has been singing
it all weekend. We especially liked the bit at the end - "You better
believe it, because it's true!"

I bought the live CD too which is great (love the vinyl effect) and I have
played it a couple of times already. I got no.34 and mine is black so I
wasn't one of the lucky 10 to get a blue one. They seemed to be selling
like hot cakes so I don't reckon there will be many left.

I am glad I've got back into this band again. I firts saw them in the
Anson Rooms in the 1990s just after the release of Beatsongs and then
again when Broken & Mended was released. I even have the free flexi-disc
somewhere.

Cheers Matthew
