Hi everyone

Richard Bell is doing a one hour Blue Aeroplanes special on Bay FM  
radio in Australia on Friday morning (2nd Oct). He'll be playing 9  
tracks as well as talking about his time in the band. You can listen  
live online through the station website. The time in Australia is 9  
hours ahead of the UK so we can all hear it live between 10pm and 11pm  
on Thursday night. For those of you in the states it'll be on at 5pm  
Thursday New York time.

Me & Gerard drove up to London on Thursday to mix one of the tracks  
from the new recording session we did back in July. It's sounding  
great so far. This latest offering should complete the album line up  
once and for all. I know it's taken ages but like I've said many times  
before it will be worth the wait. The title has changed a couple of  
times since we went to Texas too. On reflection I'm glad Gerard  
decided not to put it out then because these recent changes could be  
the difference between a really good album and a great one.

Unfortunately I didn't get time to do the Rod interview last week. I  
hope Rich's show will make up for it! I'm planning to catch up with  
Rod next time I'm in the UK which should be in about 10 days time.

Finally for those of you in the USA, we've been invited back to Texas  
in March for SXSW 2010. So if you missed it last year, you've got  
plenty of time to plan a visit to Austin this time!
