Just encountered a very hairy Gerard outside FOPP. He tried to high-five 
me, probably to avoid talking to me (I don't blame him, I was in my 
cycling gear, it's not a pretty sight), but this only confused me. He was 
with someone else (not an Aeroplane - though who knows these days?) so in 
order not to hold them up I fired off two fannish questions, in the 
service of my fellow fans:

1. Next gig?

"Oh, we should be playing at this Bristol harbour thing."

[I thought the Harbour Fest was weeks ago, perhaps this is something else?]

2. ALBUM! ALBUM! FUCKING WHEN?!?!?!?!?

(Evasive look) "We've just done a new track - called My Old Haunts."

"I can well imagine!" I replied.
