Its a great pub but not the greatest venue when its packed, as its small 
with a low stage and low ceilings so you can't always see too much if 
you're more than half way back.

I've seen Martin Stephenson, John Hegley and the Scottish Falsetto Sock 
Puppet Theatre Company there in the past year or so, and have a ticket to 
see Martin Stephenson there again in June.  And I have ticket number 1 for 
the Planes gig!

Personally, I prefer the Abbey Ales Bellringer to the Doom Bar, but who's 
counting.....
