I remember the band came on and played their first number behind the
polythene - Wojtek held a blade of some sort, and as he danced in his
usual maniacal /
balletic way he would occasionally slash out at the polythene, which
became
cut to ribbons, and eventually when the bulk of it was shredded, the band
joined in and pulled the remainder down - the NME reviewed it with the
strapline
"Exploding! Plastic! In Bristol!"
I wonder how many on this list were there? Or if it was videod? (Possibly
a
bit early for that sort of technology at a gig - but am sure Gerard would
have
wanted the work of art preserved for posterity - or maybe its very
transience
was part of its appeal)
Rocker (pretentious, moi?)
