Have to share..
Totally wild dream last night
It was this endless house-party, full of really arty folks, people playing
lutes, violas, flamenco..
Anyway the BA’s were there (about 43 of them) and all the guests had to
stand up and recite a song/poem/play an instrument in front of Gerard.
Every time the person at the front did his or her thing, you move a step
closer to him, he was on a throne...all I could come up with was the
Whindhover by Gerard Manley Hopkins but GL said it was fine..and twanged
this 12 string to my recitation!
Oh my word it was so damn wiered, had to share.
Sadly, many years ago we moved overseas and have not seen the Aeroplanes
live since 1994 at the Fiddlers and I’m 40 next month, I think I’m
re-living the good times....they remain the best best best
David
