Seem to remember that used to happen when Caroline Trettine used to do a
couple of her own songs as part of the set. Possibly ditto Nick Jacobs -
but of
course those weren't songs that Gerard "sang".

During "Weightless" I was moved to yell "see - they only really need one
guitarist" into my neighbour's ear - sounded pretty authentic to the
"Swagger"
version to me.

<< I reckon Angelo started Breaking in my Heart in the wrong key
deliberately, for a laugh.  He seemed to shift key at the time the rest of
the band came
in.  They wouldn't have known he was in the wrong key, so it was a
foolproof
plan.  Or maybe he just got it wrong, but he's too good for that, isn't
he?
Very funny, anyway.>>

No - I think he was just very quick at correcting himself when the others
came in - he then nearly lost it in the next few bars as he was laughing
so much
at himself cocking up the one bit of the set that anyone who's ever been
near a guitar at a BAs gig is guaranteed to be able to play!

<< I really enjoyed Rodney being back in the band.  While Angelo gets all
the
glory, Rodney is a terrific rhythm guitarist.>>

Agreed! Also Rodney's songs always add a melodic interlude to the serious
riffage going on around them! Glad to hear he's still got the voice!

Off to see Gerard DJing tomorrow at The Thunderbolt!

Cheers!
