Rocker:
PS - and do they have a dancer? or a poet? Nah - just a shedful (or a
Welsh cottageful) of ripped-off blues riffs and a drumkit recorded down a
well - saw Plant at that charity bash supporting MassivePortishead at the
Academy & was bored shitless.

Me:
I was at that gig and though Plant was pretty good. I've seen him several
times over the years and he's always been class. His voice has worn
remarkably well over the years, although I read somewhere that in the
rehearsals for tonight's gig they were having to change the key to some of
the songs so that's Plant's voice could cope with them. Hardly surprising
- male voices do drop over the years.

He's got several ace Bristol musos in his band too.
