I can remember that it was in E, starting on the A string and has 3 fast
echoes but I was more impressed by John and thus I can play you a good
rendition of Lover & Confidante on drums but my guitaring is only fit for
Breaking in My Heart.

Hey Nige
If you still remember it, what’s the riff for Ups?

Friday's gig????
When I saw them circa 1989, they signed my friendloverplane sleeve,
invited me and a mate backstage, gave me a beer from the rider and Angelo
taught me the riff to Ups. What a band... Days of 49 was classic that
night. Nigel (working out whether to get the first train or the last hotel
room)

to sign my ticket and enjoying the attention. I say go for it.

PS: I, being young and impressionable, was thinking of being a bit of a
sad person and bringing my Swagger sleeve down to Bristol. Now, the
question is, if I where to get to the point where the question should
arise 'Oooo, could you sign this for me?' would I be shunned as the uncool
chick I am deep down? Any advice on how to not embarrass myself would be
gratefully received. I wasn't intending on fainting and screaming I
should add.
