  Thanks Paul. Will not have too much time to sample alternatives though.

  Besides, Apple Tree had a great juke box last time I was there. I asked 
a Bedminster boyo at Fiddlers one time, why the Apple Tree had the 
'closed' sign up.
  He said the sign always faced that way. And also that Apple Tree was the 
home of the REAL white lightning.

  I bet they all say that, but somehow, I believed him.

    The cider place is the Apple Tree if I remember correctly.

    There are better, and indeed larger cider houses in Bristol, but sadly 
that is the closest.

    May see you in there, but more likely will see you in Fiddlers.
