One thing's for sure, every track has a distinctive Gerard BA imprint on
it.
Funny that.

It's dreadful isn't it?
I can only conclude that EMI are planning that having heard these
versions we'll all go on to iTunes and download at the new special price
of 99p (for tracks that aren't quite as ridiculously compressed as before)
the whole caboodle by the original artists.
Surely every track on the new album sounds worse than the original?
What is going on?
Let's meet up in a pub and record a REAL Beatsongs Deluxe.
(And what have Moby Grape got to do with it?)

I plan to buy a copy tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to it even
more now! I was initially surprised by the SF music references as I've
never really seen the Planes in that light. However it does make sense
musically now I come to think of it, although vocally I think Gerard is
far more East Coast/Velvet Underground than the SF bands, alot of whom had
good singers and used vocal harmonies alot.
Moby Grape's first lp is one of my all time favourites.
