Gordon - I've got that LP nicked it off my brother. It's called The Rock 
Machine Turns You On. 

A seminal compilation at the time, including such wonderful bands names as 
Elma Gantry's Velvet Opera and the Peanut Butter Conspiracy! Yay!

    The first album I ever owned, a CBS compilation, had a track by Moby
