Woop!

You've just mentioned all the tracks that I love FLP2 for, particularly
"Trouble, Tell me I'm Alive", which is my all-time favourite song to listen
to whilst travelling on a train. I have no idea why, it just seems to work
particularly well in that setting.

Ah, good to see ya back. Has been a bit quiet hasn't it ?
Met up with Norwegian Eyvind from the list when he was in town the other
week Amongst many exchanges, we both agreed how we liked 'Talkin On The
Other Phone'.
I thought I only had it on 12" , but Eyvind reminded me that it's on
flp2.
Just discovered I have that beast on CD, and remembered more than a
couple
of comments on this list previously about what a dreadful outing it ( flp2
)
was.
I dunno though. The Vinyl version dates it as 91ish, so an attempt,
maybe,
to not only cash in on the success of Swagger, but also clear the decks of
stuff that didn't make it on to that prior to Beatsongs release ?
I'm glad they put it out anyway, not just fore 'Talkin'', but also for
Troble, Tell Me I'm Alive, For Tim Collins, and two of Rodney's better
offerings, Missy Lane and Disney Head.
And Big Sky is a Ray Davies number. Respect !
Recommended for friends, lovers and planes.
