I was wondering about the sound too: was blaming myself for standing too close to the speakers.

I dunno ...

I think I'm a little disappointed with the Spitz gig, despite going mental when they played "BIMH"! Am I alone in thinking the amplification wasn't up to much? This, I think, made some of the songs - particularly the new ones - sound noisy and thrashy, the vocals getting distorted; particularly "Raise the roof high". Perhaps there just wasn't enough from the Swagger and Beatsongs period to satisfy me, and not playing favourites like "Razorwalk" and "Broken and Mended" left a hole in the set. The choice of some of the earlier songs was interesting, especially "Tolerance" but "Spitting out miracles" was missed. The presence of Wojtek was reassuring, but it was a shame for RA to be absent once more; I'd have liked to hear "Fun" again!

On the plus side, wasn't "... and stones" perfect!
