Well stone the bloody crows, I've just been to the farmers' market in 
Bristol on the way in to work and bumped into Hazel Winter, who was in the 
band at that time (her last ever gig with them if memory serves).
She said that they had just come from Roskilde, and there was some sarky 
comment by Gerard but not as part of the set.  Evidently they wanted to do 
Pony Boy, but had to drop it due to time constraints, and Gerard quipped 
afterwards that they got their set cut because they were "only a local 
band".
I'd played her my off-the-radio recording of the set a couple of years ago, 
and she also complained about her guitar not being far enough up in the mix 
for the first couple of numbers!
I think Gerard was also annoyed at the time as the local paper here, the 
Bristol Evening Post, had done a small piece on the "local band playing the 
Pyramid Stage", but the picture they'd used was of Hazel in her silver 
sparkly dress rather than one of him!
