Just found that a Canadian singer-songwriter Hawksley Workman has recently released an lp called "Treeful of Starling". I can't see any Blue Aeroplanes connection, either on google, on his website http://www.hawksleyworkman.com/ or on his forum. There doesn't seem to be a track called Treeful of Starling on the album. Coincidence? Anyway, I quite liked the sound of the lp taster that's on the site (you need Flash I think).

Welcome Abi. I don't think Gerard would be overjoyed if anyone passed on his home address, even if we knew it. Unfortunately there still isn't a band website, but Lisa from this list (who has been very quiet of late, which isn't like her at all ;-)) has set up a Myspace thingy http://www.myspace.com/blueaeroplanes, and messages posted there may well get to Gerard eventually.

And lastly, I've stumbled upon the source of "the rocket motors - they've fired!" sample used in Breaking in my Heart. Some of you may know this already, but if not I shall tease you a little longer with that. Tee hee.
