Your induction to we merry bunch of journeymen (+women) planes fans will
be to attend the annual Christmas gig in Bristol...which for many years
(until the release of Altitude this year and the subsequent tour) was
all we ever saw of them live......If you want a good quick introduction
to the big label album years try - Huh! The Best of the Blue Aeroplanes.
Also there's a pirated DVD of them live in Germany in the early 90s you
should search out.....then expand from there.....
Phil (for some reason lots of Areos fans are called Phil)!!

Subject: [Blueplanes] Hi there :)
Hello there,
This is just me introducing myself to you guys. I'm a Uni
student (female+Physics narrows it down somewhat). I have just recently
become utterly and completely lost in the world of the Blue Aeroplanes
and I don't want to be rescued. After much searching on the net, I
found this groovy little space and thought I'd join up. Hope thats OK
:) I'm a little young to have been around when the Planes started up,
but I would like to make up for lost time by finding out all I can and
listening to this amazing music as often as I can. Well, there it is,
my intorduction and 'Hi'. I'd love to write to Gerard Langley and the
band, could someone help me in locating an address?
Cheers!
Abi
