Friendsloversplanes,
...the two Art Objects (Gerard Langley/John Langley/Wojtek Dmchowski)
singles - 'Hard Object' & 'Showing Off to Impress the Girls' - were
released thru'
Heartbeat records, if my memory isn't too scrambled after 25 plus
years....so
you would expect one or both of these tracks to appear on Disc 2 (as the
note suggests, tho' I seem to recall Hard Object being released by Fried
Egg
records, which had the same address & all as Heartbeat)....no Art Objects
on
Avon Calling tho, but some interesting stuff nonetheless....I'm very
tempted to
invest in this release (I bought Avon Calling back in the day, lent it to
my
geography teacher, who left it in the back of his Morris 1000 on a hot day
and
warped it beyond repair) but not sure if I can recommend it to anyone who
wasn't there at the time....it will have me 'feeling, like I'm almost
sixteen
again' but won't do that for evryone.....
by the way...anyone else at the Manchester show last week think the lights
were just stunning...?
peace & love
daeve
