Myspace etc

Myspace is a great way to get strangers to hear your music. At the risk of
sounding younger than I am, isn't that how the Arctic Monkeys got their
buzz
started - by putting their demos there for people to hear? Go and have a
look - you go to a band's page and it immediately starts playing you their
music. Anyone who's anyone (and plenty of bands who aren't) is using it to
promote their music. Go for it Lisa!
Speaking of the interweb, I do wish EMI would get on with doing something
with
www.theblueaeroplanes.com. It's referred to on the reissued Swagger
packaging but several weeks on there's still nothing there - not even a
"watch this space" note, and no advert for the new album, which it seems to
me is a missed opportunity.
