altitude release

on ebay, looks like he has 50 to sell.
   
  If we bought from him though, would it help their cause in terms of 
sales?
   
  Or are we all better to buy from our local record shops?
   
  And if thats the case, does anyone know a list of those shops that help 
the band in terms of album chart position?
