From www.spincds.com:
The Blue Aeroplanes - 'Altitude'
'Altitude' is the group’s first full-length studio album since 1995’s
Rough Music, and their first major label release since 1991’s Beat
Songs. "And what of the new songs? Langley covers, among other things;
an obscure form of West Country architecture (‘Bristol Byzantine’), the
chemical which replicates the smell of new mown grass (‘Hexanal’), and
the death of River Phoenix (‘Beautiful Is As Beautiful Does’.) The
musical wrappings range from high decibel rock outs like ‘Up In A Down
World’ to the breathy acoustic reverie, ‘Multinational’ and the folky
chamber pop of ‘Tree Full Of Starlings’" Release Date: 20th March,
£11.99.
