tuesday's gig

Brilliant, wasn't it? They're still every bit as much of a joy as they ever 
were, and I've not often heard them play better. One of the friends I went 
with said: 'that's gone straight into my top 10 gigs', and I'm inclined to 
agree.
None of those Swagger tunes have paled at all, Wojtek (somehow) still has 
the same manic levels of energy, and I thought Gerard L was absolutely at 
the top of his game. In short, it was everything a good gig ought to be - 
exciting, vibrant and immensely entertaining. It's easy to live with the odd 
glitch (a couple of dodgy guitar tuning moments) when the overall experience 
is that good.
Lisa - if you're passing thoughts about the gig on to Gerard, please tell 
him the three in our little gaggle left the Borderline feeling severely 
uplifted.
