Phew!  

Having listening to their recordings for so many years I'd forgotten how it
all sounds live. Best night out I've had for years.  Personally when those
guitar riffs start up live in front of you it is quite an emotional 
feeling.

Big thanks to Gordon + Debbie for the ticket + pre-show conversation. Hope
you got home OK.

And hope our Norwegian friends got home OK.  They weren't quite the Arian
sons-of-Thor-with-ski's-on that I was expecting...! But it was great
swapping some names of Norwegian bands and stuff.  Hope you guys understand
what 'moshing' + 'moshpit' mean now!

It was pretty lively at the front I'm glad to say even though we're not
getting any younger! Wojtek had me with a glancing blow to the head but I'd
forgotten until he apologized later.  I also seem to remember a guy wearing
a sheepskin jacket who seemed to be enjoying himself off to one side of the
stage - so I 'encouraged' him to join in with the rest of us at some point
during 'Breaking...'.  I apologise if he's reading this - I don't normally
go around kidnapping people....!

So roll on April. This time I'll get the tickets in good time and bring 
some
reinforcements.  See you all there.
