there was no intention in what I wrote, to criticise you or anything you
have said on the list. I apologise for any offence caused. I appreciate
ENORMOUSLY the info you're able to pass on.
A better way of saying what I said would have been:
"Some on the list are speculating that a lack of ticket availability (at
the moment) suggests a possibility that the Aeros will not play The
Fiddlers on Dec 2nd. It will be excellent if the band play - but Bristol
is cool anyway, so I would not consider it a wasted trip, just a shame,
not to see the band. We booked a hotel for that night as soon as I heard
it was the likely date of this year's show - as there was a decent
discount for booking early. "
This is an example of the confusion that e-mails can cause. I was trying
to be more than positive, and came across as negative.
Does this make sense now ? Can we buy you a beer on the 2nd, to
"clarify".
