MessageThe Blue Aeroplanes were FANTASTIC last night - much better than
their Xmas shows, maybe because they weren't playing solely to fans and
had something to prove. Although the set was short (about 40 minutes,
maybe even less), and there was no Wojtek (but I didn't miss him), it was
utterly storming, and I, under the influence of Wifebeater, danced like a
mad bastard, had a great time, and woke in the morning refreshed and not
hungover, faith in the Aeroplanes restored.
Now WHERE'S THAT FUCKING ALBUM?!
NW2
PS Set list, as far as I can remember, and not necessarily in this order
apart from the first and last songs:
Razor Walk
88 Out
Action Painting
Yr Own World
Jacket Hangs
Breaking In My Heart

That was great. I'm still grinning! I got there just in time for Gonga,
who I really enjoyed, and The Heads were great too. It was great to see
Hazel on stage again too! And I finally got into the moshpit for "Breaking
In My Heart" as well. I haven't pogoed that much in ages!
