You may have a point there Phil. Or Albert. Or Philbert. Do the
Aeroplanes move in four dimensions? Must be all that business with the
intertwined guitar leads turning into Moebius strips. Anyway, I'm going to
live in the Thekla until the gig starts. That way, if it takes me no
appreciable time to travel to the venue, the gig will seem to last an
infinite length of time. Or does that only apply to "Breaking in My Heart"?
I think I need a lie-down.

This sounds too much like Einstein to me. It only takes me 45 minutes to
get there, so my gig will be longer. This means that although you and I
may be in the same room, in the space time continuum which is the Blue
Aeroplanes you'll be there for less time than I.
This means I will get more gig for my money, and more for my miles. It
may also mean that I will become infinitessimally smaller and see briefly
into the future.
I imagine that with digital technology the Aeroplanes can now fly at the
speed of light rather than as in the days of valve amps just at the speed
of sound so for them the gig has no actual time at all which explains why
rehearsals are such a bind, Seventeen hours of rehearsals and the show's
over before you blink.
Yours
Albert

Half an hour, and that's by no means guaranteed, i'm sure. There must be
a physical or musical law that states something like ' the amount of
time spent travelling to a Blue Aeroplanes gig is in inverse proportion
to the amount of time the band spend on stage'. So, if i'm to spend two
and a half hours on the M4 coming down from Berkhamsted are they just
gonna do two or three songs?
Anyway, Steve Lamacq played Jacket Hangs on radio 6 yesterday afternoon.
Blimey.

Mmm, take your point, but having missed Fiddlers with tickets still
burning a hole, and also missing out on the trip as an adventure, I
reckon
even half an hour or so will be worth yhe punt.
I wonder about tickets though, and also dress code ;Airwear or just
come
in Plane.(sic).
