Re: Fiddlers' Gig

MessageThis is crazy. It's great when there's loads of BA activity - I
receive the messages in a strange order (no disrespect intended Steve T)
as I'm sure everyone else does. It's like getting the answer before the Q
is asked.
Kate - I love NYC - have friends in Brooklyn and will shout you next time
I visit - assuming you live there of course. Knitting Factory is a good
venue. Saw Michelle Shocked there 18 months ago and unfortunately she was
crap. Brooklyn Cyclone rollercoaster is a bone shaker and thoroughly
recommended. Robin Williams? Yes been told that since I was 13 -
consequently used to be a big Mork & Mindy fan (OK OK OK I fancied Pam
Dawber but who didn't?).

Phil M - this might help and/or piss off everybody else on the list
but I have forgotten what you all look like!
Come over for a chat. I'll be with a mate whom I stay with once a year
in Bristol. Thing is he doesn't even like the Aeroplanes. That's
friendship eh?

Add one more Phill to the list, I hope, although my gorgeous
offspring has
been turning on the vomit whenever I`m in line for an evening out
lately, so
I won`t be certain until my feet actually enter the Fiddlers.
Might be nice to meet some people at the venue before the gig
starts, as
last year I spent a couple of hours standing around looking sad, and
only
plucked up courage to speak to someone after the gig, when that nice
Mr
Vallis gave me a lift... I`ll be on my own, as usual, as I`ve failed
thoroughly in my numerous attempts to convert friends and family to
the joys
of the Aeroplanes. Hope it`ll be as great as last year`s (more
Angelo!), but
that the suport`ll be better (not impressed by the dodgy folky
couple last
year - apologies to anyone on the list whose friendsloversparents
they may
be).
