Lisa:  December gig - Get there early-ish coz there's two supports!  No 
waiting around freezing yer tits off in silence til 11pm this year 
apparently, hooorah!  First support is a young lady who's getting a bit of a 
name and has various named musicians etc. playing with her and wanting to 
work with her,
Me:  Need more clues on this one!  As regards sitting in silence, if he 
wants a DJ to play in between acts I am available!  Will do it for a couple 
of names on the guest list.
L:  second support is ummm.... I forget - but Gerard says they're brilliant 
- Fuzz something or other...  (Flakey?  ME??!).
Me:  That'll be Fuzz Against Junk.  I know Billy, their bass player.  They 
backed Gerard on the Lit gig at the Cube.
L:  Ooooh, and the reason that they have gone on so late in recent years is, 
he says, because the guy that runs The Fiddlers always puts the time back as 
long as people are still coming through the door!  Gerard said he's always 
ready to go on from about 9.00, but this Irish guy is always telling him to 
hang on another half hour.  That would explain a few things then!
Me:  Hmmmm.  Colour me sceptical!  Bristol people are notoriously tardy, so 
maybe its true, but in my experience Bristol musicians take the whole 
unpunctuality thing to a new level!  The Irish guy is probably Danny - 
Fiddlers is owned by the Cleary family.
