Perhaps you are thinking of The Bicycle Belles, an all-girl, Amazulu-esque
band with 2 drummers and the sexiest marimba player in the northern
hemisphere from the early 80's. The sleeve from their one and, sadly, only
LP cover was a pastiche of Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls single cover, but with
the naked cyclists, band excepted, all wrinkly old ladies.

You'll all be pegging bits of cardboard to your front spokes
next...
No Ashton Court news yet, due to the fact that I'm a lazy bugger
and haven't asked (actually, it's coz my phones run out of credit and I
can't text!) - will find out when I see him... although, I'm sure on
that occassion there will be no bells ringing... except maybe the ones
in my head going, "run away, run away, barking mad Blue Aeroplanes
obsessive approaching up Whiteladies Road..."
Oh, I'm JOKING! Gawd...
Lisa (object of a strangers desire! Weyheeey! ...Wasn't that
the name of a rare Bicycle Bells B-side covered by The Uphill Gardeners
in about 1987?)

Didn't Bicycle Bell play the guitar on some of the early
albums?
Or was that Popsicle Pete?
Every cyclist should have a popsicle. They may look
obsolete but they
protect the parts which rabbits ears cannot reach.
