RE: Gig ot no gig?

Not sure about Ashton Court yet. Last year was just an acoustic set from
Gerard, Rodney and Joff. It was arranged at the last minute to cover for
another act who had pulled out. The decisions have been made on who is
playing, as I know a couple of people who have received reject letters this
week!
However, this week's venue magazine carries an advert from Fiddlers in
Bristol (where they played at Xmas) listing a Planes gig on Thursday 1st
July. Whether this is actually happening or not I've no idea, as I assume
it would have been to tie in with the London date that was planned for 3rd
July, which has since been postposed. Its not on Fiddlers website either.
Massive Attack have quite a few dates around that time - festivals and
Brixton Academy - so I assume Angelo won't be a part of it, if indeed it
does happen at all.
Anyone got any inside info?

Viruses and spam, fact of life these days huh? ('Huh!") Strangely though,
as I was wading thru the Neville Gets Evicted emails (and I have to admit,
that little bit of contraversy was better than Tuesdays Eastenders!) I
recieved a spam email from a guy called 'gerard'... Not ours I'm guessing,
since this bloke wants me to buy insurance - but a spooky coincedence none
the less... Or not. (What would it be called if it was an email from a
company actually wanting to sell you like, tinned spam tho?)
I'm on a mission to find out if they're playing Ashton Court this year.
They did last year. I'll get back to you if my friend's PC doesn't crash...
Can I have Nev's room, since he's moved out?

No worries, Kate. I'm not going to remove you.
I've reconfigured things so we shouldn't be seeing any more virus
notifications being sent to the list, but they're still being blocked just
the same.
