Fruit....again

Lot's of 'no's' for Fruit, but isn't it subjective?I'm listening to
Daughter Movie, I think it stands up, but if the release as a whole is
less than it should be, I wonder why.
It does, after all, include the work of John Stapleton, and I reckon I
only caught his contribution a couple of times *live*,so it is enervating
to be reminded of the Effect via this issue and the comments within this
forum.
Perhaps the observation someone made that this Effect contributed a
seamless nature to the live experience provides the key to why so many
find Fruit disappointing ;
the seams are embossed, and the best live recordings of anyone are those
in which the seams don't even appear, because the recording captures one
performance,warts an' all.
I cite Humble Pie's 'Performance' . Actually editing two nights at the
Fillmore, it retains the pure character of the performance by leaving in
all the amore between songs.(awright!).
Isuppose the only way to cure this situation is to try again.
Another gig is the answer of course; Play it good , play it loud,
record it, issue it, and if we still ain't satisfied, at least we will
have had the opportunity to be there again !
take your freedoms deep inside....let them advantage you
