Re: Fruit

Happened to play "Fruit" last week, for the first time in a few years.
And...it didn't quite impress me at all. Probably I just wanted to have my
last live-experience (Shrewsbury)
emerge again. But, I guess it's hard to have the aeroplanes
live-experience
captured on cd. In my mind "Fruit" is a rather fragmentic, incoherent
collection of songs. It would have been a better choice to have only one
show recorded to be released (partially) on cd.
Especially the familiar smooth transition of "Weightless" into "...And
Stones" is now being reduced to some sloppy affair...a sudden interruption,
and then another "And Stones" live version starting up. FLP 2 ,on the other
hand, ranks among my most favourite BA albums,
I have to admit.
