Urm - I spoke directly to Gerard to book the band. In fact, I've had 
another enquiry about how to book them for a birthday. We're probably all 
getting to that age now (I first saw them at The Western Star Domino Club 
in Bristol 20 years ago) where the band could made a tidy sum by just 
playing significant birthday gigs! Looking forward to Friday...

I'm still new to this mailing malarky so if you'd like an invite try

  Oddly enough, I had them booked for my fortieth birthday seven years ago 
but their then manager (who's name escapes me and has been deleted from mt 
pda) seemed to vanish off the face of the earth and I couldn't risk a no 
show so I made other arrangements.  It was never going to be the same 
party after that tho'.
