Have just tried to access it from the BBC website and the reggae show keeps coming up! Its quite good in fact, but not what I was after.
When I interviewed Gerard back in the summer he hadn't decided on an album title, but to call it Radon Daughters would seem strange, even though I think they are both on the album (I've heard a track called Tree Full Of Starlings with features Dawn from the RD's singing.)
I've e-mailed the beeb about the dodgy link, so hopefully we'll be able to listen to it soon!
As for hurdy gurdy playing, is Ian Kearey going to be there? Gerard did mention that he would try and get him along.

Did anyone else listen to the Bruce Dickinson Radio 6
show on Sunday night? It was very strange to hear a
20 minute feature on the Blue Aeroplanes. There
wasn't much news for those of us who already know them
well and I think there were a couple of inaccuracies
(did Elvis Costello really co-produce Beatsongs? -
that's the first I've heard of it) but it's good to
have them recognised on national (well sort of) radio.
The new album is apparently to be called "Radon
Daughters" (is this right? - this is also the name of
a band that Gerard produced) and we can expect some
sort of hurdy-gurdy or bagpipe playing on Friday.
Great (I think).
They played a few tracks (there was no live
performance or interview): Action Painting, World View
Blue and Cavaliers (part 2). The woman doing the
profile was very enthusiastic about them (and plugged
Friday's gig) but Bruce Dickinson (lead singer of Iron
Maiden) didn't get it at all.
If you missed it you should be able to listen on the
bbc radio 6 website www.bbc.co.uk/6music - choose
Bruce Dickinson Freak Zone. The BAs feature starts
about 30 minutes into the show.
