My vote is for Mr Cope - not for Head On which was great, but for his
"Krautrocksampler" which is his write-up of his favourite German music,
including a priceless top 50 run-down. The man has a way of writing which
makes you ACHE to hear the record he's describing. The most passionate
book
about music I've ever read.
