 thank you Paul for news about Ruth joining Hazel for the gig in September.

Ruth was and hopefully remains a beautifully original bass player. She was
classically trained on the cello, and just applied a cello vibe to playing
the
bass guitar, ie a bit like a lead instrument. She absolutely never bothered
with
the bass guitar cliches that you're supposed to follow. Check What do You
Mean (what i said)
from Miracles, or Arriving or Soul from Tolerance for best examples.
Regretfully by todays
standards there is not enough bassiness in the mixes. But cool to hear she
is still making music.
