Funnily enough I've just bought a secondhand CD by Dark Star, which was
what
was left of Levitation when they lost, err, one of their members.
Levitation had lovely bass playing from Laurence O'Keeffe, ex-Jazz Butcher
Conspiracy, though by some extraordinary twist of fate I don't think he
ever
turned up in the BAs. And they had some former member of the House of
Love,
and sounded explosive, psychotic and frazzled. But that's just on the
basis
of the Coppelia EP: I never got round to buying the album.
