Hi all,
An utterly impossible task, this top12 business (as would have been a top 30), but here are the first 12 stunning aeroplanes songs that I can think of (largely on the strength of memorable lines, or memories from particularly good live shows)...

1. Your Ages (it`s all right, it`s all right, it`s better than all
right...)
2. What It Is (Watch these hands...)
3. Spitting Out Miracles (too much whiskey and cigarettes...)
4. Cat Scan Hist`ry (Bristol Vic Rooms 1990(?))
5. Jacket Hangs (Let those arms rotate...)
6. Warhol`s 15 (You bury it deeper than it`s easy to find, and then...)
7. ...And Stones (it was the wibbly guitar sound that hooked me in `88)
8. 88 Out (their most dancable song by far...)
9. Picture Framed (...and then one of their simplest and saddest)
10. Bury Your Love Like Treasure (intertwining voices...)
11. Breakin` In My Heart (one drop of rain on the back of my hand...)
12. Raise The Roof (so there`s at least one new-ish song on there...)
13. Bollocks, Is That Really All I Get????

I may have to register on this list as another name, so that I can put another 12 on...

Or maybe I should go do some work...

                                        Phill...........
