What's wrong with "Mercury"?  Okay, the French bit is rather wobbly (as if
the woman doing it felt nervous in front of a microphone), but the song's
big enough to survive, and Gerard's delivery (Hold! Protect! Love!) has all
the urgency and drama of his best stuff.

I love that assessment of "Fragile" though: harsh but fair.
