Steve
JBC - Jazz Butcher Conspiracy i presume? I'm with you on that 92 set. I
have it on tape somewhere. What a fantastic show.
I remember an electric jacket hangs plus Gerard's scat over the start of
breaking in my heart after the time had been cut short - 'After all, we're
only a local band....!'
It was the day of the euro 92 final 'Denmark 3 Germany 0' and he wasn't
far wrong.
I can't remember what the line-up was but it was perhaps still the
remnants of the beatsongs lineup although playing some (pre-) Life Model
stuff, eg broken/mended, daughter movie.
But if anyone hasn't heard this tape I recommend trying to get hold of it.
It's loads less uneven than fruit and the songs are without exception
excellent. what happened to aeroplane blues live?

I know from your correspondence that I am in the minority in being
disappointed with the show.
So I listened to the Radio 1 Glastonbury (1992) set on an old cassette
last night. Having heard that, I now know why I am addicted to Blue
Aeroplanes.
Go back & check it out, see if you agree.
