I haven't really got time to reply properly because my house mate wants to
insure a car on the web, but it is great to hear from folks who get all
carried away by these songs. I find it like a kind of overflowing
sensation, exactly like the lyric you quoted, which has always been one of
my favourites.

I'm going to have a bit of a listen and find other lyrics that are top.

Please don't get mad if I'm a bit slow in replying to stuff, I'm a bit
busy
with things.

What was the gig like anyone?

Oh, I live in Camberley.

Bye
JP

I was in college when Swagger came out as well, I was
a dj at the radio station and so was exposed to them
before with Friendloverplane and Spitting Out
Miracles.
(though I must say that after Swagger came out I was
TOTALLY sold - that and getting to see them live!)

I remember listening to it while riding around in my
car in the Georgia summer heat and zeroing in on the
line "the surface of the street is hot to touch, and
the sky pours into everyone's head, you can't drink
enough to hold it off" and thinking how that summed up
summer in the American south - for me anyway!

and the line from Tolerance "you could measure the
effect of that time in light" completely summer up how
I felt about certain things in my life at that time.

Kate
