To John and everyone. The gig was great, but my aren't we 'planes fans
getting stiff in our old age. Don't muse to the Blues move to them.....For
anyone who talked to me at the gig I'm the devotee (sad git - your call!)
who did a 350 mile round trip from Manchester. Thanks to Gerard and Ann
for
your kindness. To Catherine for the bed, and for buying me brekkie in the
St
Michael's Cafe (where I nicked a poster for the gig).

Rodney did a short set of his own before the main event ending with a
cover
of The Jam's 'Butterfly Collector' before taking to the stage as one of
five
guitarists- personal highlights 'Cowardice and Caprice' not heard live in
years! the wonderful 'Art Star' and the fact that the backbeat on ...and
stones was played on what looked like an electric banjo....plus of course
'Breaking in My Heart' to finish us all off at the end. Can't wait for the
tour and the LP just a shame it appears it will have such a limited
distribution.
