A tape tree sounds like a fine idea. Did anyone own up to having a copy
of
Siamese Boyfriends they'd be willing to copy? I saw it in a shop in
Bristol
ages ago, but I'd only recently got into the Aeroplanes and so I didn't
buy
it. Needless to say I curse myself every waking hour. The
half-remembered
cover still haunts me at night.
I've never seen a copy of Happysad, but I'd love to get my hands on a tape
of that, too.
I probably shouldn't mention this, but I do have a reasonable stereo
hooked
up to a CD writer. I'm not proposing a bootleg factory, but if anyone has
copies of these things, I could always clean them up and transfer them to
CDR. The same goes for Damian's live tape, which I'd love a copy of, by
the
way. Like Aaron says, we'd buy these things if we could, right?
I did have some success recording two live Aeros recordings, taped off the
radio, onto a CDR. One is from 1990, and the other is their Glastonbury
set
from 1992. If anyone wants a copy, just shout. We should pool our
resources, right?
