Having just joined the list I would like to say Happy new Year to
everyone.
As a brief introduction, I first saw the Blue Aeroplanes as support band
to the Darling Buds at the T&C (now Forum) sometime in about 1987 and
immediately considered them as best live band I'd seen. I've probably seen
them about 20 times since and have the majority of their recorded work
although I've rather lost touch in the last couple of years due to the
relative inactivity of the band and a great deal of turmoil in my own
life.
Now, with the aid of fab new technology I hope to catch up a bit. I am
also on the lists for the Ozric tentacles and Fairport Convention so I may
have bored some people already but otherwise I look forward to talking to
you.
A couple of questions to start off with:
1. Is there an official Blue Aeroplanes line-up at present? If so, what is
it?
2. Is the forthcoming Rodney Allen solo album his first?
