he reminds me of a poorer Billy Bragg too, but i like Bragg a lot, and
think some of Rodney's pale Bragg imitations are excellent punctuation to
Blue Aeroplanes albums. i also think his writing has gotten better over
the years, though maybe it's just that their deployment on the records has
gotten better.
and when it comes to him just singing second vocal on Gerard songs, he's a
much better complement than Nick Jacobs.
