Randy -
I can appreciate your post...it must seem silly.
But for me, being able to even discuss the Planes with
a group of people who even care what Rodney sings at
:53 in Yr Ages is a marvel.

This is a Blue Aeroplanes mailing list...and so it is
populated with people who want to discuss them.
and to tell you the truth its very new since up until
a few months ago there was NO traffic on here at all!
So, forgive us our enthusiasm at the moment...there
are gigs and cds and lots to talk about.
(other than what type of shoe Rod wears - I assure you
- you just happened on us in a silly time)

I suggest you look into this website:
http://www.bigtakeover.com

there is an excellent mailing list you can join that
has very diverse musical discussions. I enjoy it
myself.

And by the way, I LOVE all the bands you mentioned and
don't mind discussing them -

hope you stick around to discover that we are more
well rounded than at first glimpse.
welcome,
Kate
