I'll be the first person to say that everyone is
entitled to his/her own opinion.  How bland the world
would be if we all thought alike. 

I don't think that we are all "Rodney lovers" on this
list...but I think a fair amount of us appreciate him.
I, myself, love pop music.  I think its great and fun
to listen to (but I love ALOT of different music).
I truly appreciate Rodney's particular talents.

and I do consider him talented.
you cannot judge someone solely on a song written over
10 years ago.
as for the Billy Bragg comparison, yes, you are right.
But, the man is his hero - if you grow up listening to
someone it will show in your own style.
I believe Rod is a Jam fan as well and I certainly can
tell that as well.

I think his new material shows alot of maturity and
growth.  And for the record, I still get chills when I
hear "Disney Head".
and what about all the songs that Rodney helped write
that he doesn't sing?

just *my* opinion...but lets not start personal
attacks - if you don't like pop, you don't like pop.
