GLASGOW 19/01/00

Just arrived back in Swansea after seeing the Aeroplanes in Glasgow on
Tuesday night.
Great gig in a tiny venue (probably about 100fans (maximum) in the 13th
note club).
Set started with Broken & Mended and ended with Yr Own World.
Same encores as last Bristol gig- Jack Leaves, Colour Me and Breaking in
my heart.
Highlights for me included Detective Song and Weightless.....and stones.
No T-shirts or CD's available , no merchandise at all.
I took some b&w photos but I haven't developed them yet , they shouldn't
be too bad i was standing front of the stage right.
I spoke in some length toRodney in the bar after the concert (nice chap,
very friendly).
The Aeroplanes cd is out next week and his solo lp (he played one track
live - very good) will be out in the Spring (even though it was recorded 2
yrs ago).
Thats all for now - if you are thinking about going to a gig I recommend
it thay are still as bloody great as ever (just a bit older).
Love and Respect
Steve Hill
